Audi makes a name for itself and keeps authenticity, performance, and service in the name. The Audi A6 design brings comfort, safety, and high quality to travel. But, the performance of this vehicle, even 12 years old is as good as new for long road trips-I think outperforming the listed and anticipated MPG for this model and year. But, comparing the new and the old models, both are awesome vehicles with lots of 'gitty up' when cared for! In fact, I actually save money by traveling a little faster on the highways for MPG.(Highway Patrol and Insurance, please ignore). I expect to put some moolah into the care when needed. But, otherwise, when warmed up, vroom! Yes. The winter at high altitude in extreme cold is a little unfriendly to an early morning start. The car is exactly what it is: a sweet ride in an older model. I got a little more than I paid for a couple of years ago. But, I can attest to the benefits of purchasing a used Audi. If repairs are needed, they better be done-if not, it's more expensive. You know what you get with inspection, service, and Audi control.
